Bruce Roberts

Investment Advisor Representative

Bruce has been forming genuine relationships with clients and colleagues since joining the financial services industry back in 1991. His transparency, dedication and integrity, he believes, have helped many people reach their financial goals. His goal is to see his clients "live their dream."

Although he advises on many different facets of financial planning, Bruce specializes in developing and monitoring retirement distribution strategies for clients at (or near) retirement. Bruce is a 1990 graduate of Northern Michigan University, where he majored in both Economics and Public Administration. He also studied at the American College, where he completed studies to attain the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) professional designations. Bruce also has the following securities registrations: Series 6,7,63,65,24 and 53 as well as state registrations in over 25 states. He also holds life insurance and annuity licenses in multiple states.

Bruce is a charter member of the Academy of Preferred Financial Advisors. In 2018 he became the co-founder of ERTS Wealth Advisors, LLC, which is an independent Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm. Despite his independent practice he still mentors many financial advisors in the RIA space as well as the broker/dealer world.

Bruce lives in the Marquette area with his wife of 25 years, Pam. They have two teenage sons: Noah and Heston; as well as the family dog Mario. Bruce is also involved in the local community, where he has served on numerous profit and nonprofit boards. He's also coached youth in soccer, baseball, and robotics. Currently he is an active member of the Bethel Baptist Church, and sits on the North Star Academy Charter School's board of directors. In his spare time, Bruce likes to travel with his family, cross country ski, and golf.
